ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Nova, a trained Indian dancer, has dedicated her life to the art of dance. Starting her journey in Kolkata, India, she learned Kathak and Bollywood from a young age. Moving to London for higher education, she continued to participate in local events and joined the renowned Shamak Davar dance institution.

She is also a certified Zumba instructor worked at Bellerive Fernwood Fitness where she has conducted Bolly zumba classes. Nova eventually settled in Hobart, Australia, where she found solace in the beautiful landscape and tight-knit community.

Over the years individually and along with her students/team participated at various government organised cultural events and other community events.

Bella Dance School is named after her furbaby Bella and she is the love of her life hence, it is Bella Dance School. Moreover Inspired by her love for dogs, Nova founded Bella Dance School, aiming to teach Indian dance forms while supporting a noble cause. The school's profits go towards feeding and caring for stray dogs and cats, allowing students to dance for fun, learn semi-classical and bollywood routine, right techniques, perform at various cultural events and making a positive impact.
